Dr. LaPorte also announced that there is still a need for a graduate student for the grade appeals committee; he will email the three student members of this committee and ask if one of them would be interested. Dr. Williamson brought up syllabus of record policy to APSCUF and the concerns were the same as the committees. He also announced that the faculty professional development council annual grant program guidelines came out from the state system. Dr. David Myers distributed a Graduate Distance Education Review Form for dual listing of PLSC 331/551; on a Piper/Boser motion this was approved unanimously. Dr. Soni announced that he had a meeting with Dr. Staszkiewicz about course syllabus of record; Dr. Staszkiewicz said that there is an overwhelming support by the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. Dr. Staszkiewicz informed Dr. Soni that the template he prepared is only a skeleton that he has put together, something that requires further deliberations. Dr. Soni also announced that there is an Undergraduate Scholars Day tentatively set for April 4, 2006.
