Two students in the Anthropology Department are participating in a conflict resolution program in collaboration with Georgetown University, Colombia University, and Radford University.
For the second year, Abbie Adams is serving on the Power of Dialogue Directory Team, working with senior anthropology majors Madison Britton and Brooke Cassidy during this five-week immersive experience.
During this program, students build dialogue skills needed for navigating contentious issues, develop the cultural dexterity they need to serve as a bridge between the rural-urban divide, and increase their self-awareness by managing differences in a range of settings.
