This is part of #EberlyAmazingStudents, a series from the IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology that focuses on students who are involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities.
Caleb Sipos is a junior marketing student at IUP with an expected graduation in fall 2021. Caleb is an active member of the American Marketing Association, where he also serves on the executive board as the events coordinator.

He attended his first semester of college at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, where he was selected into the National Society of Leadership and Success for spring 2018. Caleb made the decision to transfer from Coastal Carolina University to continue his learning experience at IUP.
Upon returning to Indiana and enrolling at IUP, Caleb changed his major several times before he found the perfect fit. He wanted something where he could express his creativity and found the match that worked best with him: marketing.
In the process of switching majors, the opportunity arose for Caleb to begin a student worker position at Eberly. Caleb works in the Dean's Office helping with office administration work, including preparation of spreadsheets, promotional items, program support, and correspondence.
"Working at Eberly is one of the best decisions I have made throughout my college career," said Caleb. "Working closely with the faculty and students of Eberly is always interesting and allows me to meet and interact with many new people. I also get to see the behind the scenes planning of events and getting ready for each semester."
Caleb is on the executive board for the American Marketing Association of IUP as the events coordinator. As the events coordinator, Caleb has experience working with closely with business professionals outside of IUP and works to ensure that all things run smoothly for the scheduled events. "I love working with people and learning what they respond to best, which is one of the many reasons I chose marketing as my major. New experiences and challenges excite me and help me to prepare for my future career," said Caleb.
Caleb also currently works at Meraki Boutique in Indiana as a social media marketing intern. He engages closely with the business to develop new plans and strategies to expand the brand to new markets and customers. Caleb helps with the design, editing, and layout of the social media as well as developing innovative ways to market in order to reach a broader population. He is able to use his photography and video editing skills on various social media platforms during this opportunity as well.
"Caleb has been such a welcomed asset to our team. He has innovative and creative ideas that are necessary for is to stay on the forefront of the fashion game,"said Kristin LoPiccolo, owner of Meraki Boutique. "He brings a spirit and drive that is incomparable to others whom I have worked with in the past, and I feel incredibly lucky to have him as a part of my team."
Caleb looks forward to his senior year at IUP and continuing his part-time work assignments.
