A representative from  will hold an information session for any interested student on Wednesday, February 8, in B20 (you can enter through the main entrance of the IUP CPDC) at 4:00 p.m.

The Washington Center offers IUP students a unique life and professional experience during the summer, fall, or spring semesters. Qualified students can work in several different fields in private, public, and nonprofit organizations in the Washington, DC metro area. Previous IUP internship locations included Voice of America, the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators, the United States Marshals Service, Citigroup Management, and the Smithsonian's Museum of Asian Art, among others.

TWC offers internship opportunities for students from a variety of academic disciplines. Each program has professional supervisors who oversee, supervise, and help evaluate students, as well as organize activities for students when they are not at their internships. Other components of the internship program include an evening academic course, as well as professional development and career readiness programming.  All students must receive academic credit to participate.
