In mid-April, a group of comm media students accompanied faculty member Stephanie Keppich to the in Las Vegas.
BEA is the premiere international academic media organization driving insights, excellence in media production, and career advancement for educators, students, and professionals.
At the event, the students had the opportunity to choose to attend sessions on media pedagogy, collaborative networking events, hands-on technology workshops, research and creative scholarship, and the Festival of Media Arts. The event was also colocated with the National Association of Broadcasters' , a two-day streaming summit where leading players in the broadcast, media, and entertainment industry converge to experience industry innovation in action.
The students felt energized and happy for the chance to attend the event and hope for more future opportunities.
