- Recognize that non-consensual sex is sexual assault
- Identify situations in which sexual assault may occur
- Intervene in situations where consent has not been given
- Create an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
Statistics from
- Among undergraduate students, 26.4 percent of females and 6.8 percent of males experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation.
- Male college-aged students (18-24) are 78 percent more likely than non-students of the same age to be a victim of rape or sexual assault.
- 23.1 percent of TGQN (transgender, genderqueer, nonconforming) college students have been sexually assaulted.
