Bradley WelmanThe ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø chapter of the interdisciplinary honor society of Phi Kappa Phi has selected Bradley Welman as this year's recipient of the annual Reynolds Scholarship.

Welman is an undergraduate student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice and will graduate with his bachelor of arts degree in May 2022. Welman plans to use the scholarship to continue as a student at IUP and will enroll in the master of arts program in criminology. Welman has been engaged in earning graduate credits as an undergraduate student through the university's 4+1 program.

While an undergraduate student at IUP, Welman has participated in the annual IUP Scholars Forum, which allows undergraduate students to present original research in a university-wide conference setting. Welman supplemented his academic accomplishments by becoming certified as an emergency medical technician through the paramedic program at the IUP Institute for Rural Health and Safety.

The Phi Kappa Phi Reynolds Scholarship is awarded to the top undergraduate student member of Phi Kappa Phi who plans to continue their education with post-graduate studies. The winner of this chapter-level award is forwarded to the national office of Phi Kappa Phi for additional fellowship consideration.

is an interdisciplinary honor society headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Membership is by invitation only to the top 10 percent of seniors and graduate students and the top 7.5 percent of juniors. Faculty and professional staff members and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction also qualify for membership.
