Stand up and show your support by creating an encouraging sign for survivors of sexual assault.
The Haven Project is asking everyone, students, faculty, staff, and administrators, to stand up and show how IUP supports survivors of sexual assault during Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the What Would You Tell a Survivor signs. The deadline to submit your photo is Monday, April 27.
You can visit the Haven Project website on the main page and scroll to the bottom right above the News posts. You will see a flyer and the template of the sign that we are asking everyone to fill out for this project.
What to do:
- Print out the sign
- Write your encouraging/supportive message to a survivor (no names of survivors, please)
- Take a picture holding the sign (or just of the sign, it is up to you)
- Email the picture to haven-project@iup.edu
- Check the Haven Project's website after April 28 to view the video of IUP supporting survivors!
