Leslie Stenger, assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science, was recognized at the College of Health and Human Services' 30th annual awardsrecognition ceremony, held virtuallyon May 7, 2020.
Please join us in congratulating Leslie Stenger as the recipient of the 2019-20 Outstanding Service Award.
During her tenure at IUP, Stenger has demonstrated the importance service plays in her professional life through her involvement in community programs that have a very personal meaning for her. Acting as a university representative when serving on community-based committees, Stenger strives to make a positive contribution to "strengthen the bond between the community and the university while providing opportunities for students."
Beyond her service to the Exercise Science Majors Club, Stenger has served in a variety of other roles, including APSCUF representative, university representative for the Active Indiana Initiative, and university coordinator for WalkWorks. Additionally, Stenger is a member of the CHHS Recruitment and Advisement Committee and served as academic advisor for a variety of other student organizations and events.
