Residence Life is committed to providing the highest quality of services and support to students and their families, even during this fast-changing worldwide emergency.
Our Residence Life team at IUP have been working on-site diligently with move-outs in the past two weeks and serving all student and family concerns. We appreciate our students and their families' patience as we work to respond to their needs and questions. At this point, most of our students are living and learning remotely at home, but we still have over 40 students who continue living on campus at this time because it is a betteralternative. All of ourstudents have been relocated toRuddock Hall for the rest of the spring semester.
While we miss our dedicated staff of 60 resident assistants, we are so appreciative of their dedication over the course of the year. In addition to the professional staff, we have six RAs working to ensurea sense of communityand continued services to our current residential residents.
We would like to give a special shoutout to these six amazing RAs who volunteered to stay for the rest of spring semester: Dani Wade, Taylar Dallas, Keith Stinnette, Nicole Pomazanski, Caitlyn McMaster, and John Conlen. We are so thankful and proud to be a part of this Residence Life team and the larger IUP team!
To all of our residential students near and far, it is our hope that the relationship you developed as a result of your residential experience are sources of comfort and joy as we all adjust to a new way forward.Wewant you to know we care about you, we are here to support you, and we look forward to seeing you back home in the fall!
