IUP, in conjunction with Instructional Design Services, is pleased to announce our Virtual Tech Day on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. All sessions will be conducted synchronously via Zoom. Virtual Tech Day is for IUP employees only.
Virtual Tech Day is designed to provide high-quality, internet-delivered training that equips instructors with the tools to deliver online, hybrid, and face-to-face instruction.
Synchronous sessions will include:
- Using the OWL camera-enabled classrooms and Zoom
- Office 365
- D2L Brightspace
Join us for a virtual welcome at 8:30 a.m. Simultaneous sessions will be offered in the morning and afternoon. The morning sessions start at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 11:00 a.m. The afternoon sessions will start at 1:00 p.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. There is a scheduled break from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Don't worry if you are unable to attend any of the sessions. We will record all of the sessions and will provide them via D2L later in the week in the Virtual Tech Day course, along with other great topics such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Cyber Security, Multimedia A/V, and Instructional Design, to name a few.
We hope to see you virtually for the sessions that have been designed to help you prepare for the upcoming semester!
