Mariah Fairley (PhD student, English Composition and Applied Linguistics) has published an article in the journal TESOL Quarterly.
"Conceptualizing Language Teacher Education Centered on Language Teacher Identity Development: A CompetenciesBased Approach and Practical Applications" appears in the most recent issue of the journal TESOL Quarterly.
In this article, Fairley theorizes and conceptualizes a language teacher education program that attends to language teacher identity through a competencies-based approach. The article also provides practical strategies for implementing and further developing the approach based on these competencies.
