Content from the Le Rpertoire international de la presse musicale (RIPM) is now available as a trial through the IUP Libraries! Trial access ends on May 31, 2020.
Two collections are accessible during this trial:
The : access music periodical literature published from the Early Romantic period to the Modern Period (1760 and 1966), with 1 million articles in full text that cannot be accessed anywhere else. RIPM includes RIPM Retrospective Index with Full Text, an Annotated Series, and North American and European Music Periodicals, a Preservation Series.
: find primary source articles printed in the United States from 1914 to 2000. A Preservation Series, RIPM Jazz Periodicals offers access to essential, hard-to-find documentary resources: all included journals are out-of-print and rarely accessible, with numerous complete publication runs reconstructed by RIPM.
RIPM functions under the auspices of the International Musicological Society and the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres. RIPM also benefits from the collaboration of scholars and institutions in some 20 countries, a principal editorial headquarters in the United States, and active research teams throughout Europe and the Americas.
