Please join us on Tuesday, November 19, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for an open house event showcasing the creations of Kelli Kerry-Moran’s ECSP 314 students. The event will be held on the first floor of Stapleton Library.

Kerry-Moran’s students learned how to do wet and needle felting under the tutelage of local fiber artist Sandy Trimble. Trimble worked with the students throughout the first half of the fall semester to create wool felt puppets from raw wool and model how the arts can be integrated across the curriculum.

IUP Libraries is proud to support this innovative artist-in-residency program (made possible through an ArtsPath grant and the College of Education and Human Services Dean’s Office) that provides IUP’s teacher education students with an opportunity to experiment with a new art form while learning about creative experiences and play. Light refreshments will be served.
