ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has been selected as a participant in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program for 2010–2011.

IUP was first selected for the program for 2009–2010.

The program is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. It allows United States colleges and universities to enter voluntarily into an agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs to fund tuition expenses that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate.

“This program positions IUP in a national registry of Yellow Ribbon universities, further reflecting IUP's commitment as a veteran-friendly campus,” William Srsic, a counselor in IUP's Veterans Affairs office, said. “Our office is dedicated to serving student veterans and dependents of veterans, including academic support, tutoring, housing assistance, financial aid, and general information.”
