Mimi Benjamin, professor in the Department of Student Affairs in Higher Education, co-authored “” recently published in the Sports Innovation Journal.
Benjamin and Elon University colleagues Cara Lucia, Shaina Dobbs, and Mark Cryan qualitatively explored students’ perceptions of living in the Sport Management and Media Living Learning Community at Elon University. Their study revealed the importance of the living-learning community’s contributions to students’ developing community and friendships, and the program also served as a catalyst for student involvement.
