Poetry Out Loud Continues at IUP

ArtsPath is pleased to announce that Shaurya Gulati from the Kiski School is the winner of the 2024 ArtsPath regional Poetry Out Loud recitation competition. Poetry Out Loud is a national competition which takes place in every state and territory and follows a pyramid structure from the classroom to the school, then to a regional, state, and national competition.

Trimble Completes Reynoldsville Senior Center Residency

Longtime ArtsPath Teaching Artist Sandy Trimble recently completed her third residency at the Foundry in Reynoldsville, one of four senior centers in the county under the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging.

Free Artist Residency Offered Through ArtsPath

A free online artist residency with Bernie Wilke, a painter and muralist,  and Allison Popieski, the arts-in-education manager for Pittsburgh’s Attack Theatre, is being offered through ArtsPath. This 12-session asynchronous residency workshop runs June 1 through the end of July.

ArtsPath Hosting Regional Poetry Out Loud Recitation Competition

ArtsPath, the arts-in-education program of the College of Fine Arts and the Lively Arts at IUP, will host one of 14 regional Poetry Out Loud competitions held in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø that will determine who will represent each region at the state POL competition on March 9, 2020, in Harrisburg.
