On September 13, 2021, the Eberly College of Business held their 31st Annual IUP Business Golf Classic at the Longue Vue Club in Verona, PA, which generated over $40K in student scholarship dollars from the generous support of over 22 sponsors and 80-plus golfers.

On March 6, 2021, 14 students from the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology joined staff, administrators, and a faculty member for the United Collegiate Women’s Leadership Virtual Conference 2021. The conference included a wide range of workshops on key issues in higher education.
On March 31, 2021, the Student Accounting Association held its fifth meeting of the spring semester with guest speaker Elle Gandolfi ’17 (also a 2020 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law), an associate attorney at a local law firm.
On March 18, 2021, the Student Accounting Association held its fourth meeting of the Spring semester with guest speaker Brittany Jellison, a campus recruiter, and IUP alumnus Dave Bluemling, a tax partner for BKD CPAs and Advisors, Pittsburgh office.
On February 17, 2021, Malcolm Polley served as the guest lecturer for the Finance Seminar class.
On March 3, 2021, the Student Accounting Association held its third meeting of the spring semester with guest speaker Susan Maloney, the firm director of the national public accounting firm Baker Tilly, Pittsburgh office. Accompanying her was Lauren Cattell, who is an assurance associate.
The Eberly Navigators, under the direction of Tracy VanHorn-Juart, delivered mid-semester notes and treat bags to the Stephenson Hall Business Living Learning Community on March 1, 2021.

On February 17, 2021, the Student Accounting Association held its second meeting of the spring semester with guest speaker Todd Lucas ’02 (accounting), a senior audit manager at Schneider Downs’ Pittsburgh office. Accompanying him were IUP alumni Ed Friel ’88 (shareholder), Jim Yard ’93 (shareholder), Laria Moore ’19 (staff II member), and Ed Kremmel ’16 (senior auditor).
Michaela Elsen is a sophomore at IUP studying Human Resources and General Management in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. Michaela is also involved with Management Association, Phi Gamma Nu, COBSAC, the Eberly Digital Marketing Team, and Business Honors.
Morgan Jarvie is a Finance major and an early admissions MBA student in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
On February 1, 2021, the IUP Student Accounting Association made its third nonperishable food and toiletries donation to the IUP Food Pantry and Help Center, located in room G-12 at the Suites on Pratt. The donation was carried out by SAA Community Service Chair Logan Stear and Vice President of Finance Brandon Boyer. The Food Pantry provides free food and toiletries to IUP students in need.
The Eberly College of Business hosted Dylan Corp, a licensed psychologist from the IUP Counseling Center and the outreach coordinator, who took the time to discuss motivation with students—where it comes from, what it is, what problems we often face with it, and how to maintain and use it.
The Business Success Seminar course is specifically intended to engage students early, providing them with active learning, peer interaction, career exploration, and campus engagement opportunities. All freshmen business majors are encouraged to take this class during their first year at IUP.
