According to Take Back the Night.org:

  • One in three women worldwide experience some form of sexual violence or intimate partner violence.
  • One in six men experience sexual violence.
  • Less than 50 percent of victims report these crimes.

 

IUP's 2021 Take Back The Night March and Speak Out had to be canceled. However, the virtual Speak Out is available to view on the Haven Project website.

The IUP Haven Project is the department on campus that assists students with the issues of sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, and stalking. We educate the campus community on these issues by providing educational programming and awareness campaigns and events.
