What's Happening for Criminology Majors

As an undergraduate criminology major, you can join organizations specifically for criminology students.

This student organization is for criminology majors and minors. It sponsors a number of speakers from across the field of criminology/criminal justice and philanthropic events throughout the year. Each spring, the Criminology Association cosponsors a career fair with the Career and Professional Development Center. The organization also is involved in service to the community.

For over half a century, Alpha Phi Sigma has continued to foster its four ideals: academic excellence, unity, leadership, and service. Designated in 1976 as the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, IUP's local chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma conducts numerous fundraising and service activities and regularly attends the national conference, where members compete for scholarships and network with leading criminal justice professionals.
