Below is information regarding the progress the research team made throughout the grant period and highlights from goals reached.
This project has supported four graduate students and more than 15 undergraduate students.
Research Study
- 203 students participated in surveys focused on soft skills.
- 27 practicing professionals were interviewed regarding the use of soft skills during their careers.
Tutoring/Support Services
- Over 150 tutoring sessions were conducted with students from September 2017 to April 2018.
- Tutoring sessions were offered at three different locations on campus, as well as online.
- 28 Help Sheets were created to aide students in soft skill development.
- 14 audio presentations and PowerPoints were created to aide students in soft skill development.
Educator/Nonprofit network
- Connected and networked with over 50 public school districts to build a cybersecurity community.
- Connected and networked with over 75 parochial/private schools.
- Connected and networked with two community colleges: Westmoreland County Community College and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Highlands Community College.
- Connected and networked with six local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Weekend Workshops
- Held three different weekend workshops in two locations within Indiana and Westmoreland counties.
- Each workshop was attended by 25-35 participants.

Summer Camp
- The camp was attended by 30 participants from seven different schools.
