Student Awards
Summer 2023, 2022, and 2021 and Winter 2020–21 Camps - Raspberry Pi 4 Kit
Each student who attended the summer 2021-23 and/or the winter 2020–21 student camp received a Raspberry Pi 4 Kit to learn during camp, and to take home at the conclusion of camp. The Raspberry Pi is a single board computer that helps students learn the basics of hardware and software at once. The Raspberry Pi 4 Kit includes a case for the Pi, a micro SD card, fan, and power supply to get started. It teaches students how to utilize and become familiar with the Linux operating system. It can also be customized using the input and output pins embedded on the device. Students used their Pis in several of the offered modules.
2019 Student Camp - Droid Inventor Kit
Each student who attended the 2019 student camp received a Droid Inventor Kit to learn with during camp, and take home at the conclusion of camp. The Droid Inventor Kit is a miniature R2D2 replica, and teaches students how to build circuits, manual manipulation, and programming. Entirely customizable, the Droid Inventor Kit encourages creativity and problem solving.
Students learned how to build and program their robot during the Robots Programming module.
2018 Combination Camp - Sphero Ollie Robot
Each student who attended the 2018 combination camp received a Sphero Ollie Robot to learn with during camp, and take home at the conclusion of camp. The Sphero Ollie Robot is an electronically propelled computer, with a customizable body, capable of performing jumps and tricks. It can be controlled manually, or through the use of drag and drop coding with the Sphero Edu app.
Students learned how to operate and program their robot during the Applications of Ollie Robots module.
2017 Combination Camp - Parrot Cargo Drone
Each student who attended the 2017 combination camp received a Parrot Cargo Drone to learn with during camp, and take home at the conclusion of camp. The Parrot Cargo Drone has the ability to carry small lightweight objects with the gripper attachment, as well as launch small plastic pellets with the attachable canon. It can be controlled manually or through the use of drag and drop coding with the Parrot FreeFlight Mini app.
Students learned how to manually fly and program their drone during the Drone Technology Module.
2017 Advanced Camp - Arduino Starter Kit
Each student who attended the 2017 advanced camp received an Arduino Starter Kit to learn with during camp, and take home at the conclusion of camp. The Arduino Starter Kit includes electronic components for 15 different projects, including projects to create musical instruments that are played by motion, and using secret codes to unlock doors.
Students learned how to assemble their board and complete projects during the Arduino Projects Module.

Teacher Awards
2021 Combination Camp - Cash Stipend
Each teacher who attended the 2021 combination camp received a stipend of $750, and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Act 48 credits.
2018 Combination Camp - Cash Stipend
Each teacher who attended the 2018 combination camp received a stipend of $500, in addition to mileage reimbursement for any commute over 10 miles, and Act 48 credits.
2017 Combination Camp - Chromebook
Each teacher who attended the 2017 combination camp received a Chromebook to learn with during camp, and take home at the conclusion of camp. Teacher participants were taught how to keep their Chromebooks secure, and also ways in which to use the Chromebook in their classrooms. Participants also received mileage reimbursement for commutes longer than 10 miles, and Act 48 credits.
2016 Combination Camp - iPad Mini
Each teacher who attended the 2016 combination camp received an iPad Mini to learn with during camp, and take home at the conclusion of camp. Teacher participants were taught how to utilize the iPad in their classrooms to better facilitate learning. Participants also received mileage reimbursement for commutes longer than 10 miles, and Act 48 credits.
