The IUP Protection of Minors policy states that a program administrator must register events involving minors with the university, with limited exception. The event registry web page is available, and the registration process must begin at least 30 days before the day of the event.

Deadline for (Non-Faculty) Retirement with Enhanced Sick Leave Payout

AFSCME, SCUPA, OPEIU, POA, SPFPA, SEIU, coaches, and non-represented employees who are eligible and planing to retire must submit notice of retirement by Friday, June 26, 2020, to participate in the Enhanced Sick Leave Payout Program.

Faculty Phased Retirement Requests Due April 26

Eligible faculty members can begin a phased retirement arrangement in fall 2020, provided they submit their proposed arrangement by April 26, 2020.

Due to the circumstances regarding the coronavirus, the last two weeks of this program have been canceled.

Retirement Counselor Onsite Visits Temporarily Suspended

Steps are being taken to prioritize the safety of the ARP vendor’s employees as well as their clients. Effective March 16, 2020, retirement counselors have temporarily suspended on-site visits as well as face-to-face client meetings.   

Deferred Compensation Meetings in March Canceled

All in-person meetings with Shawn Amblod from Empower Retirement scheduled for March have been canceled. They will be rescheduled for a later time.
