Profile
Kelly Heider leads the library's information literacy efforts to support graduate students and graduate research at IUP. In addition, she manages Stapleton Library's Children's Collection, teaches bibliographic instruction sessions and credit-bearing information literacy courses in-person and via Zoom, provides in-person and remote reference service six hours each week, and designs and maintains online research guides and tutorials for the College of Education and Communications and the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Heider's current research interests include: information literacy for graduate students, teacher isolation and burnout, creating a sense of belonging in the online classroom, open educational resources, and library outreach.
