Mystical Arts of Tibet
October 24-31, 2011
See Schedule Below for Days and Times
Ohio Room, Hadley Union Building (HUB), IUP Campus
The Lively Arts is partnering with Stuart Chandler, chair of the Department of Religious Studies at IUP, and the Indiana Arts Council in presenting eight days of outreach activities for the entire campus and Indiana region. Over eight days, the monks of the Mystical Arts of Tibet will create a highly intricate spiritual mandala. The variety of activities available include observation of the monks as they construct the mandala, hearing short talks and lectures by the monks and Dr. Chandler, working on a separate community mandala or individual manadalas, making a peace flag to be hung from the ceiling of the Ohio Room, working on a mandala puzzle, or coloring in a mandala book. Please see below for the residency schedule.
