ϳԹ registered landscape architect Barbara Hauge, of UpStreet Architects in Indiana, PA, will present a lecture on the importance of native perennials, shrubs, and trees and how to incorporate them into your garden spaces. The lecture takes place at the University Museum on Thursday, February 23, at 6:30 p.m.
The University Museum at IUP overlooks the Oak Grove, a park-like space older than the university, with tall trees, grass, flowers, benches, and paths leading students to and from class. The exhibition “Environmental” brings the outside in, allowing artists to interpret the theme through paint, print, sculpture, wood, and fiber.
