On November 5, 2020, national cybersecurity experts will gather virtually for a daylong conference on topics that will engage general business owners, business executives, and those with both beginner and advance technical skills. National Science Foundation Workshop August 4; Registration Deadline July 28

Organic Chemistry, Anyone?

Justin Fair, a professor in the Madia Department of Chemistry in the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, had previous experience teaching a graduate course online. Now that he’s delivering all of his courses remotely, including chemistry labs, his perspective on face-to-face learning hasn’t changed.

IUP Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Featured in Pittsburgh News for Autism Research Discovery

Skip Kingston ’73 M ’75, professor of analytical chemistry at Duquesne University, originally from Harrisburg, a 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, was featured on KDKA-TV on February 20 and February 21 for his research on biomarkers linked to autism.
