Daniel Larson is a certified industrial hygienist with a BA from the University of Tennessee and an Master of Science degree in Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Safety from West Virginia University. Larson comes to the PA/Consultation Program as a safety and health consultant with over 28 years of experience in industrial hygiene and industrial hygiene project management.
The major focus of Larson's consultation visits is to use his knowledge to assist, advise, and support small business with their industrial hygiene project needs in OSHA compliance.
Prior to coming to PA/OSHA Consultation, Larson worked for eight years as an industrial hygienist in the federal government and then for over 20 years as a private consultant, where he managed a team of safety and health professionals for two different consulting firms. These opportunities provided him with a wide range of experience in many industrial, commercial, and government sectors in need of safety and industrial hygiene support.
In addition, Larson has previously served as adjunct faculty for a community college and state university. He is a long-time member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
