Faculty and Staff Permits
Faculty and Staff can apply for a permit through their Parking Portal Account. Step-by-step instructions are available. Faculty and Staff permits expire July 31, 2025.
Parking Garage Permits
Spaces in the IUP Parking Garage, located off Grant Street, are available for rent to members of the IUP community. Faculty and staff can add their name to the waitlist anytime by emailing parking-services@iup.edu.

Commuter Permits
Undergraduate students living outside the designated IUP boundary, but within 75 miles of IUP, can get a commuter permit. Graduate students living within the boundaries designated by IUP can obtain a commuter permit. Commuter permits can be purchased through your Parking Portal Account or in the Parking and Transportation Office starting August 1. Step-by-step instructions are available. Students living within the designated IUP boundary, which are not eligible for a commuter permit, have access to the Indigo bus shuttle.
Long-Term Robertshaw Permits
Anyone living in an IUP residence hall may purchase a parking pass for the Robertshaw parking lot. Long-Term Robertshaw permits can be purchased through your Parking Portal Account or in the Parking and Transportation Office starting August 1. Step-by-step instructions are available.

Students living in IUP residence halls and traveling off campus for student teaching or clinical at least three days per week can apply for an academic experience permit.
Temporary Student or Guest Permit
Temporary parking passes are available for students or their guests in the Long-Term Robertshaw West Lot. Temporary student or guest permits must be purchased in the Parking and Transportation Office.
