Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce Continues IUP Student Internship Program

Jared Klepadlo, a junior management information systems major in the Cook Honors College, is working as an intern at the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce this summer. He says that he’s “completely enjoying” the experience, his supervisor’s enthusiasm and knowledge, the western ϳԹ setting, and especially the people he’s meeting through the work.

Labrador Named IUP Punxsutawney Person of Purpose

Monique Feliciano Labrador has been selected as the IUP Punxsutawney Person of Purpose for January/February 2021. This award recognizes a student who has shown academic excellence and good work ethic and who actively participates in the classroom.

Summer Internship Opportunity

The Punxsutawney Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in partnership with the Jefferson County Development Corporation seeks a summer intern to support local economic and community development initiatives. The student will gain valuable experience while being mentored by seasoned professionals.

IUP Punxsutawney Soft Skills Program

IUP Punxsutawney has teamed up with the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce and Punxsutawney Area School District to develop a pilot program to teach soft skills to a group of high school juniors and seniors.
