If you receive a notice about the “Emergency Notification-No Response” hold, also known as the “Emergency Alert System” hold, this hold can be lifted very easily.

  • In the MyIUP portal:
    • Log in to and go to Discover. Search for "emergency notification." On the Safety and Security card, click Emergency Alert Notification Sign-up, Everbridge. 

The information needed is a contact phone number and the carrier. You can choose to add the information or decline.

Please note that if you decline, the hold will return during the next registration cycle. This information will only be used in conjunction with emergencies.
