What is your research?
In early 2020, I began a work of art called Tension, a twenty-nine foot handmade metal chain connected at each end to handmade belt buckles, intended to be worn by two people. To truly complete this interactive sculptural artwork requires a performance and video documentation, which I intend to complete in the Summer of 2020. Performance and video, sometimes referred to as New Media, are part a major part of my studio practice, and including handmade artifacts, such as this chain, is a new direction I am excited to explore. With my research, I'm looking at new ways I want my art to be perceived and what steps I want to make as a future artist.
