The Jones White Writing Center offers a Graduate Editing Service to advanced graduate students.
This is an online-only (synchronous or asynchronous) service where you can submit your work for feedback on the following three areas:
-
iThenticate tutorials: Tutors will submit your work to iThenticate and provide you with an overview of any issues dealing with inappropriate use of sources.
-
Thesis and dissertation formatting review: Work with our tutors to ask questions about formatting your dissertation or thesis appropriately for submission.
-
Thesis and dissertation editing: Tutors will work with you to edit your final version of your dissertation or thesis for submission. You should only use this service once your committee and advisor have signed off on your dissertation or thesis and you are preparing for submission.
This service is designed for advanced graduate students who are nearing the completion of their thesis or dissertation. If you are earlier in the process, you should be working with our regular tutoring service for review of and feedback on your work.
To schedule with the Graduate Editing Service:
- In the portal, go to Discover. Search for "writing center." On the Academic Support card, click on Writing Center: Schedule a Writing Tutorial.
