The submission deadline for the 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), with relation to the PA State Grant Program, has been extended to June 1, 2024.
If you need to make corrections to your FAFSA application, those corrections can be made once your FAFSA is processed.
The 2024–25 FAFSA is now available. IUP will begin to receive FAFSA data in late March 2024. This means that we will not be able to confirm that we’ve received your FAFSA until then. We anticipate beginning to send offer letters to new students in early May 2024 and to returning students in late June 2024.Â
The 2024–25 FAFSA will be delayed until December 2023 due to changes the US Department of Education is implementing to make the application more streamlined for students and families.Â
Be sure to complete your 2023–24 FAFSA application by May 1, 2023, for maximum aid consideration.

Students seeking to enroll in the temporarily expanded SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) should apply in the state in which they are currently living and attending school. There is no minimum amount of time that someone must live in a state in order to apply for SNAP, and all they need to do is verify their residency in that state.
Under a temporary change in eligibility announced this week by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Department of Human Services, students may qualify for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits and it would not adversely affect their financial aid package.
