  4. Seek non-emergency medical treatment within the first 90 days from a physician listed on the IUP Panel of Physicians. Send all documentation received from the medical provider to the Office of Human Resources.
  5. If medical attention was sought and/or time was lost from work due to the injury, the Office of Human Resources will file a claim with Inservco Insurance Services, our third party workers' compensation insurance company. Inservco will notify you directly with claim updates.
  6. Review your rights and responsibilities under the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Workers' Compensation Law by reviewing the WC Employee Notice and the WC Information Sheet for your employee group/bargaining unit.

If you require emergency medical treatment, you may seek it from any provider.

Non-emergency medical treatment must be received from a physician listed on the IUP Panel of Physicians. All treatments received within the first ninety (90) days from the date of your injury by an approved provider are covered pending approval from Inservco.

IUP shall not be responsible for payment of your non-emergency medical bills for treatment received by anyone not listed on the IUP Panel of Physicians within the first ninety (90) days.

To ensure proper payment for treatment by an approved physician, notify the provider that a Workers' Compensation claim has been filed and that all bills related to your injury should be sent to Inservco under the claim number Inservco provided to you in the claim approval notification.

Claims for medical treatment, supplies, and/or prescriptions should not be forwarded to your health insurance plan or prescription drug plan for payment.

Treatment received after the first 90 days will be paid for by IUP, unless the treatment is found to be unreasonable or unnecessary by a Utilization Review Organization pursuant to the Utilization Review Process explained in the .

If your claim is approved by Inservco, no leave is charged for the day of the injury/illness.

You receive full pay if you leave work for medical attention on the day of the injury/illness.

AFSCME and PSSU employees will be billed for their health benefits by the PEBTF.
