Driscoll and Colleagues Publish on Writing Beyond the University in New Edited Collection
Dana Driscoll and colleagues published on their larger nationwide self-sponsored writing project in a new edited collection, "Writing Beyond the University."
Sherwood Publishes Digital Poem in International Anthology
Kenneth Sherwood (English, co-director of the Center for Digital Humanities and Culture) published the digital poem "Coal Code" in the peer-reviewed Electronic Literature Collection. Programmed in Javascript, the multimedia piece combines lyric voice tracks with an array of images reflecting upon and recycling stories and postcard images from nineteenth-century coal culture in ϳԹ.
FOLDIS Diversity and Inclusion Series Oct. 18–Nov. 11
Starting October 18, the Foreign Languages Diversity and Inclusion Series (FOLDIS) is designed to promote cultural awareness while providing unique insights into the everyday importance of embracing diversity and inclusion.

Spanish Education Student Earns Global Seal of Biliteracy
Andrew Secula III (Spanish education '22) has been awarded the Global Seal of Biliteracy in English and Spanish. Andrew is the first IUP student to earn a Global Seal.

“Confetti” Film Screening and Meeting with Award-Winning Director Ann Hu
Shijuan "Laurel" Liu organized the film screening of “Confetti,” a film related to interculture, language learning, early childhood education, and special education (dyslexia), on April 29, 2022. IUP community members, including incoming students, can sign up for a virtual pass to watch the film online.
