Ready to become a student? We look forward to receiving your application for the online MS degree in Nursing. Our program has open enrollment, which means you can apply in fall, summer, or spring with no specific application deadline.
However, we recommend submitting your application early to secure your seat as well as potential funding. In addition, a fall start will provide you with the best curriculum to get you through the program.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission, you must have:
-
Successfully completed an accredited nursing program.
-
A bachelor's degree (not necessarily in the field of nursing).
-
Current licensure as a registered nurse.

If you do not have evidence of coursework in statistics and research, you can take an undergraduate course in this area at any university or community college you choose.
If you have taken graduate courses at other institutions, you can transfer up to 12 credits to count toward your IUP degree as long as they have been taken in the past five years and you earned a B or higher.
In addition, we also recommend a minimum of one year of clinical practice to join our master's degree program.

In addition, you will also complete 12 credits that are specifically related to your education or administration track. You can find more information about your potential curriculum on the nurse education and nurse administration web pages.
Students in our program complete classes as a cohort, which means that they are admitted at the same time and progress through a predetermined set of courses together. This provides strong peer support and networking opportunities
