Position Description
The University College seeks applications from self-motivated students who can maintain confidentiality in a professional environment. We look for students with initiative, who are detail-oriented, proficient with computers, reliable, and represent the university as professionally as possible.
Duties Include
- Serve as an information source to all who use any of the services falling under Student Orientation
- Maintain a high level of visibility, approachability, and enthusiasm always
- Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing Summer Orientation Social Programming.
- Providing campus resources and information
- Other general office duties.
Position Qualifications
You must be able to work from mid-April to mid-July and Welcome Week in August.
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Please note: Final selection as a Student Success Leader is determined upon the completion of the spring semester.
- The department is interested in candidates who have communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members.
- Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well during the interview(s).
