Biography:
Glen Ishoy joined the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department at IUP in fall 2016. Prior to his doctoral studies, Ishoy worked for nearly 10 years as a police officer in the Atlanta metropolitan area. During that time, he gained extensive experience in patrol operations, criminal investigations, and community policing programs. Ishoy's recent research has focused on the decision making processes of street-level police officers and the exercise of officer discretion. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Crime and Delinquency, Criminal Justice Studies, and Criminal Justice Ethics.
