Biography
Daniel Lee has been a part of the IUP faculty since fall 2001, and from 2002 to 2008 he served as the coordinator to the Master of Arts degree program. His research interests include the conceptualization and evaluation of criminological theories and the application of this information to criminal justice policy. In 2007, he received a distinguished paper award for his research on the relationship between citizen perceptions of police and fear of crime, presented at the second Istanbul Conference on Democracy and Global Security. He serves on the editorial boards for Criminal Justice Policy Review, Prison Journal, and Western Criminology Review. His recent research has been published in Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Prison Journal, and Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice.
