The Center for Career and Technical Personnel Preparation was established in response to the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bureau of Career and Technical Education's need for a comprehensive program to prepare and upgrade career and technical education teachers and administrators in secondary schools in Western ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. These individuals are employed by school districts and develop their skills while on the job as in-service teachers and administrators.

Service Area

The primary goal of the center is to provide an individualized and service-oriented approach to career and technical personnel preparation. The center staff strives to improve the quality of career and technical education in a rapidly changing technological and sociological environment.

The programs offered by the Center for Career and Technical Personnel Preparation include

  • Field-based teacher education
