The Career and Wellness Education Department is a diverse and interdisciplinary department that offers multiple programs of study that prepares candidates to become high-quality educators.

Curriculum requirements are specific to each program of study and include opportunities for student-centered learning and "hands-on" practical experiences. Students learn and apply their skills using up-to-date technology in the classroom and clinical settings. Classes are taught by outstanding faculty members who are active in research and service to their academic disciplines and who are committed to student professional development.

Boland, Family and Consumer Sciences Education Senior, Wins Runway Repurposed Competition

Family and consumer sciences education senior, Trinity Boland, won first place at the Salvation Army’s Runway Repurposed fashion show in Pittsburgh on May 22, 2024. Trinity submitted an original design and participated in the runway event.
