The Dashboard
The first thing you’ll see when you log in to Cascade is your Dashboard. The Dashboard widgets display information from your site. It gives you a birds-eye view of your action items, notifications, and site content.
You can add or customize widgets to show data from your site(s). Click and drag widgets to move them around on your dashboard, or remove widgets you don’t need. Click on a site from the My Sites widget, or use the site dropdown at the top of the screen. Now you’re ready to work with your content!
(Note: These are not the old Ektron widgets. Forget those ever existed.)

Context Menu
The context menu, accessible by right-clicking on any asset, provides you with a menu of available actions for that asset, such as Rename, Copy, Move, and Delete.
Only actions you have permission to take will be available. For example, if you don't have permission to edit a page, the Edit option will not be available in the context menu.

Asset Display Options
Cascade CMS provides two options to display asset links: by their system name, or by their Title or Display Name.
- System Name: about
- Title or Display Name: About the Digital Team
By default, if a folder, page, or file has a Title or Display Name metadata field filled out, it will appear on all asset links throughout your Cascade CMS environment. It is important to note that the formal paths and published filenames are different from what is shown in Cascade CMS with this display method.

Comments and Mentions
All assets within the Site Content area support threaded commenting to provide a discussion about the asset.
Individual comments can be replied to, (un)resolved, and deleted. Each transition step when an asset goes through Workflow contains a comments field, allowing for a conversation about what has changed or to provide actionable feedback between transition steps.
