David I. Hanauer, a faculty member in IUP’s Department of English, has been named as one of the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” for 2023 by an international academic independent research center.

IUP Receives Funding for Students Studying Nursing Education

A $171,961 grant from the federal Department of Health and Human Services to ϳԹ is designed to help address the nation’s nursing shortage by providing financial support to students who commit to serving as nurse educators.

IUP Part of Tri-County Entrepreneurial Makerspace Project

Funding of $1.5 million through the Build Back Better Regional Challenge Grant has been allocated for an entrepreneurial makerspace ecosystem that will include ϳԹ (Indiana County), an IUP-led STEAMSHOP robotics and electronics satellite site in Armstrong County and Made in Johnstown in Cambria County.

Revision to Graduate Student Time Limitations Policy

Effective fall 2022, graduate students will now have more time to finish their degrees, with master's program students now having six years instead of five and doctoral students having eight instead of seven.

IUP Approved for $1 Million Project as Part of Build Back Better Regional Challenge Grant
