    • If you are using a computer for online learning, these guidelines will help you to know hardware and software specifications it needs to meet.
  • D2L Brightspace
    • D2L is a vendor-hosted learning management system contracted by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø State System of Higher Education to offer collaborative learning tools, activity-based learning, and interaction with materials that encourage critical reflection.
  • iblog
    • iblog is the blogging service for IUP. It is hosted through Edublogs | CampusPress and runs on the WordPress platform.
  • Plagiarism Prevention
    • To assist instructors in detecting plagiarism in student work, and to protect students from plagiarism, IUP subscribes to the Turnitin service, funded through technology fees.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Zoom Online Meeting Tool
    • Zoom is IUP's online meeting tool for classes and other online meetings.
  • Drop-Add Daily Email Digest
    • The Drop/Add Daily Email Digest was created at the request of ACPAC. The digest provides email notifications to instructors when students drop or add their courses.
  • How to Create a Course Section Email List
    • Course Section Email Lists enable you to send messages to all students in a particular section with one email address.
  • Project Directory Service
    • The Project Directory Service provides “project” disk space for each individual course section being offered in the current academic semester.
  • Student Picture Service
    • The Student Picture Service was established at the request of ACPAC to provide authorized faculty members with access to photos of students enrolled in their courses.

  • Print Services for Students
    • Printing services are available to students so they can print reports to any public pay-per-print printer across campus.

  • Public Computer Labs
    • IT Services coordinates the operation of several university public computer labs. These computer labs are available for student use and contain a wide variety of software.
  • Virtual Computer Lab VCL
    • Using VMWare, the Virtual Computer Lab provides remote access to a Windows desktop so you can access the software applications found on the PCs in the public computer labs. This service is provided for all registered students, faculty, and staff members.

Test Scoring

  • Test Scoring Services
    • Test Scoring Services, housed in Delaney Hall, offers test scoring via optical-scanning forms. University faculty can administer tests on general-purpose answer sheets and have them scored.
