Daedalus Quartet

The members of the Daedalus Quartet will present to Indiana High School string students. They will talk about various aspects of music, as well as talk about career opportunities as a musician. Music will include both standard quartet literature as well as examples of the contemporary literature that is their specialty.

The members of the Daedalus Quartet will present to IUP music students. In addition to talking about careers as a musician and aspects of music, they will focus on chamber music, the commissioning of new works, and collaboration. This Lec/Dem is open to anyone interested in music.
These outreach events are presented by ArtsPath, the Arts-in-Education program of the Lively Arts, as part of the visit to Indiana by the Daedalus Quartet as they perform at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, in the intimate chamber setting of the Blue Room in John Sutton Hall at IUP.
