Loss of any kind is difficult and very painful. It can involve many difficult emotions. Each of us handles loss in different ways and it is important to know that there is no right or wrong way. However, there are some healthy ways to cope with loss that can help you to move forward. This workshop will help participants learn ways to cope and heal, thus enabling them to help others in the process.
Goals and Objectives
By the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- realize the importance of taking care of self first in order to be able to help others;
- become aware of the tools that will enable us to move through the pain;
- become familiar with healthy ways to share that empower themselves and others;
- accept permission to set boundaries and say No.
