The Hispanic Heritage Council
The Hispanic Heritage Council, in partnership with the Office of Social Equity and Civic Engagement at IUP, aims to raise awareness of Latino culture and heritage and promote cultural diversity in the IUP community. The council accomplishes this by hosting Hispanic events at IUP, like Noche Latina, an annual celebration on the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States.

Latino Student Organization (LaSO)
The Latino Student Organization at IUP aims to educate the university community about Latino culture and its rich heritage. LaSO provides networking opportunities with other student organizations on campus in order to expand its mission at IUP.
LaSO's general meetings are held in Stapleton Library Room 110 on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. Both Latino and non-Latino students are encouraged to attend in order to enjoy the cultural diversity of IUP.

Ritmo Latino
Ritmo Latino is a student-organized dance crew at IUP designed to promote Latino culture via dance. Ritmo Latino hosts and participates in various events in collaboration with other student organizations that promote diversity in the IUP community. Auditions are hosted at the beginning of each semester, and all members of the IUP community are welcome to try out.
The dancers for the fall 2014 semester are Pamela Guzman, Alaya Scott, Shayla Torres, and Joseph Solis.
Dance rehearsals are held at Fisher Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.
