Travelers Insurance, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, West Virginia and Delaware
Mr. Williams is a native of Indiana, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. He attended the Keith School, which was a K through tenth-grade "Model School" affiliated with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. In 1964, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. He joined the Travelers Insurance Company that same year in Pittsburgh as a trainee. Forty-one years later, he retired as chairman of the Travelers of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, West Virginia, and Delaware. Mr. Williams was influential in the development of payroll deducted personal insurance program.
Mr. Williams is an Army veteran. He is now active in local government and serves as a councilman and a planning commissioner. Mr. Williams was one of the first members of the Eberly College of Business advisory council and served for a total of fifteen years.
He and his family have lived in New York City, Dallas, Hartford, and numerous other locations. He and his wife, Patricia, reside in Sewickley, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, and have two grown daughters and four grandchildren. In their spare time, Mr. and Mrs. Williams are involved in numerous charities and travel extensively.
